Description
The best preserved of the Dead Sea Scrolls, containing the entire book of Isaiah in Hebrew, ~1000 years older than any previously known Hebrew manuscript of the prophets.
Biblical significance
The Isaiah Scroll demonstrates the remarkable stability of the Hebrew biblical text across a millennium of transmission, with only minor orthographic differences from the medieval Masoretic Text.
